Oggy Signature Stems on Sale!
The exhaustive testing has finally been completed on the
Oggy signature stem. Not only that but a small stock has been secured and this first batch is now on sale!
Lighter, longer reach and a lower profile than our
PROStem, this unit is (unsuprisingly) aimed purely at racing. The stem boasts a clean knee friendly design and is machined on Vancouver's infamous
North Shore from a solid
7075 T6 aluminium billet by a small group of dedicated riders with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to perfection. This material is one of the highest strength aluminium alloys available with an excellent strength to weight ratio that makes it common in the use of aircraft components!

Stock of one, proto of the other
After a great deal of work, testing and starting over it looks like we're finally there. Work on the new
Oggy signature stem is nearing completion and production feedback suggests we're on the home straight ... the work carried out has also given birth to a new stem concept design (as of yet unnamed) expected to be worked on over 2007.
Also we now have stock of the new
3PC Guard which for a limited time will come with machined logos in place of laser etching ... very smooth!

3pc Guard, secret Oggy stem and Fraser MacNeil joins the family
Where the hell does the time go? Well, we've not been sitting on our hands - thats for sure!
First up Id like to announce that
Fraser MacNeil has started riding for us following his success in the
MBUK/
KONA Slopestyle competition at
Glentress, where he was riding along side Vice rider
Ross Armstrong.
Next on the product line is the new
3PC Guard which we are hoping to have our first stock of in around two months. Expectations are high for this little gem and Im confident it wont disappoint - so begins a new era in bash ring strength!
And finally, some stem news. The
JumpStem is expected to retire early next year. Reason being a Vice Oggy signature stem is underway. While
Oggys success with the
PROStem has been clear, we feel that a purpose made, totally original stem is in order for the NPS winner. The stem is designed (as per
Oggys requests) to be lighter while retaining the strength that Vice is known for, an extra 5-10mm longer, very knee friendly and use a totally new and original clamping system. More on this as and when it comes.

Website update and ClifCat news
Bill sent me some
photos of the frames he's been working on and I just have to share them. The new MX2POINT6 is something else and comes with the new 10.5 X 3.5 Revox on it (with Avalanche as an option). In the words of the man himself, 'they are completely sick!!!!'
So the
media section is up but by no means finished - the layout will be getting played with and content will be updated as and when ... photos, videos etc are welcome.

Dealers, Distributors and Hubs
It's been a while since the last update and that's because we've been busy as hell trying to sort out just who is going to be making our
forthcoming hub! The hub was chosen to be our first over the
StreetHub simply because
Oggy needs to use a front brake ... as good a reason as any ... besides it came up in the coin toss too. Currently the hub is imaginatively named the
DiscHub - which is crap, so
suggestions are welcome.
Vice would also like to announce new dealers: in Innerleithen
Pro-Bike Sport have taken on our stems and handling all Japanese distribution are the guys at
Love Bikes.

Oggy on a new year of racing with
our components, introduce
our new hubs and start working with international distributors.
